The next Binga Kasambabezi Marathon will be taking place on Saturday, 27 September 2025, in Binga, Zimbabwe.

The Binga Kasambabezi Marathon is a community-driven endurance event that includes multiple race categories and promotes health, fitness, and tourism in the beautiful Zambezi region.

• 42km Full Marathon – Ages 20 and above

• 21km Half Marathon – Ages 18 and above

• 10km Road Race – Ages 15 and above

• 5km Fun Run – Ages 10 and above (adult supervision required for younger participants)

• 10km Wheelchair Race – Ages 18 and above

• 50km Cycling Race – Ages 18 and above

All races will start and finish at the Binga Sports Grounds, Binga, Zimbabwe.

RACE NUMBER COLLECTION Venue: Binga Town Community Hall

• Thursday 3 July: 12h00 – 17h00

• Friday 4 July: 10h00 – 17h00

• Saturday 5 July: 09h00 – 16h00

Bring your Zimbabwean ID/passport, proof of residency (if SADC), and entry confirmation for collection. If collecting on behalf of another runner, bring their documentation and permission.

Note: Race numbers will not be issued on race day. No changes or late entries will be accepted.

TOG BAG DROP-OFF A tog bag facility will be available at the starting point. Please drop bags off early. Do not leave valuables in your bag – the event is not responsible for lost or damaged property.

FINAL CUT-OFF TIME All races will officially end at 12:30 PM. Runners not on pace to finish by then may be asked to leave the course by marshals for safety.

TIME KEEPING Electronic timing will be in place for all timed events, with live results published on the website.

CORPORATE & CLUB TEAMS Corporate and club teams will appear in general results and receive a dedicated results sheet.

GOVERNANCE & RULES The event follows Zimbabwean Athletics Association and World Athletics rules. The Binga Kasambabezi Marathon is organized by the Binga Sports & Community Trust. Travel packages are managed under the terms and conditions of Wild Frontiers.
